Media SHOCKED as Second Impeachment Trial Making Trump Even STRONGER!!!

It’s increasingly clear that the mainstream media is rather beside themselves, exasperated and frustrated.
Just a few weeks after Trump’s acquittal in February of last year, leftist activists such as MSNBC’s Joy Reid were explicitly supporting a second trial! In fact, the media has been pushing a second impeachment for over a year now!
So here we are, the second Senate trial begins this week. The media got their wish.
Or did they?
Politico reporter Tara Palmeri recently appeared on MSNBC and shocked her fellow pundits by informing them that there was a ‘crusade’ being waged on behalf of president Trump in places like Wyoming, where Trump is ‘way more popular’ than the Liz Cheney, the Wyoming Republican who voted with the Democrats to impeach him. Palmeri reported on attending an anti-Cheney rally led by Florida Representative Matt Gaetz and she said that among the hundreds if not thousands of people there, she couldn’t find one who was even willing to give Liz Cheney a smidgeon of support!
Palmeri when on to describe an apparent disconnect between what's perceived as truth in D.C. and what’s perceived as truth in Cheyenne. “I hate that they're so distrustful,” Palmeri said, citing how the locals refused to wear masks, distrusted the coronavirus vaccine, believed the 2020 presidential election to be stolen, and that the Jan. 6 riot on Capitol Hill was instigated by Antifa agitators. “It feels like another world but that's what's on the ground and I don't think that we can ignore it and I'm really happy that I went out there and saw it because I think that there's a huge disconnect between Washington and the rest of the country.” She noted: “A lot of people said they aren't really Republicans, that, like, they're for Trump. That's it. I think the base is getting stronger, truly. I think an impeachment would make him even more powerful.”
Perhaps now we can understand the media’s increasing disillusionment. The second impeachment they’ve so longed for is admittedly making Trump even more powerful.
Michael Kruse, also at Politico, recognized that Trump is winning impeachment all over again! Trump has an uncanny lifetime knack of turning near-disasters into massive brand-building triumphs, and Kruse sees that pattern recurring here with the second impeachment. Trump is turning his two impeachments into his populist-leadership bona fides, and it’s only going to make him – and the populist movement he leads – more viable than ever!
But this raises the question: why are we seeing both the MAGA populist revolt grow and President Trump’s support surge in the midst of this second impeachment?
Scholars have noted that one of the key characteristics of globalism is the rise of what’s called an expert class. Because globalist societies are technological societies, they foster a class of technological experts to oversee and govern a globalist society. And when this so-called expert class manifests itself in politics, it has given rise to something that scholars call refeudalization: just as medieval feudal societies governed according to the norms and wishes of a privileged class (lords, nobles, dukes, etc.), so globalist societies are increasingly governed according to the interests, concerns, and values of a political class.
But here’s the key: those values, interests, and concerns are becoming increasingly alienated from the values, interests, and concerns of the people, the populace. And this alienation is giving rise to a massive populist backlash not just here in the States but throughout the world. Because the permanent political class is increasingly alienated from the concerns and values of the people, a new political animus is forging, an emerging political antagonism that’s defined increasingly as the people vs. the political class, the ruled vs. the rulers, the ordinary American vs. the oligarchs. And the more globalist the world becomes, the more populist sentiments rise in response!
The growing divide between the political class and the people only further verifies and corroborates the populist concern that the world is increasingly ruled by a political elite who govern for their own benefit, aloof to the concerns of the citizens they claim to represent. And President Trump, more than any modern political figure, is seen as the representative of the people who is most willing to ‘Drain the Swamp’, to fight against the permanent political class and defend the politics of the people, a politics centered on border security, bringing our manufacturing jobs back home, and celebrating rather than denigrating our culture, customs, and traditions.
And so, what does this impeachment circus look like to tens of millions of Americans? It looks exactly like the Swamp trying to destroy the one man who campaigned and governed fighting to drain it! Impeachment only underscores and corroborates the nationalist populist concerns of the 2016 and 2020 elections.
That’s why populism isn’t going away, and to the shock of the mainstream media, it looks like President Trump isn’t going away any time soon either!
