President Donald Trump TRANSFORMS the GOP into the New PATRIOT PARTY at CPAC!!!

“Do you miss me yet?”
That’s how Donald Trump started his much-anticipated speech at CPAC in Orlando last weekend, his first since Jan. 6th, to a thunderous reception.
Just hours earlier, the results of the CPAC straw poll were released: 55 percent of respondents said they would vote for Trump in a hypothetical 2024 primary, while 21 percent said they’d vote for Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and 4 percent picked South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem, both rising stars in the GOP. Without Trump in the race, DeSantis doubled his support with 43 percent.
But the most significant result of the straw poll was the fact that 95 percent said they want the Republican Party to continue with Trump’s agenda and policies.
It’s no wonder Trump said that he has no plans to start a third party, and he made it clear as to why: we already have the Republican Party; we don’t need to start a third party! As I listed to Trump’s speech, I realized that the question over the last two months – will Trump start a new Patriot Party or will he support Republicans primarying RINO establishment figures? – was a false dichotomy, because Trump is currently turning the GOP into the Patriot Party!
The GOP, under Trump’s leadership, is the Patriot Party, or better, it’s slowly but surely becoming the Patriot Party! Trump’s speech outlined his plans for the party, including primarying RINOs like Liz Cheney and Lisa Murkowski, and guaranteeing that the old neocon GOP will indeed be history! They’re going to be gone, and a new party, or better, a new Republican Patriot Party, is indeed rising.
As Trump put it, MAGA is a movement; MAGA wasn’t a campaign; MAGA was and is a movement, and it’s a movement that’s just beginning. It’s a movement that has won and WILL win again; in fact, Trump teased a 2024 run saying that perhaps he’s going to have to beat the Democrats a third time! Of course, the crowd went wild!
Trump’s speech confirmed that the GOP has become the nationalist, populist, and traditionalist party of Trump. And those themes – nationalism, populism, and traditionalism – framed the whole of Trump’s speech.
He ripped Biden apart for deliberately abdicating his law-enforcement responsibilities at the border, noting that Biden has brought back catch and release, and whose reckless policies have led to migrants once again amassing at the border. After listing out his own accomplishments at border security, Trump said: “It took the new administration only a few weeks to turn this unprecedented accomplishment into a self-inflicted humanitarian and national security disaster. By recklessly eliminating our border, security measures, controls, all the things we put into place, Joe Biden has triggered a massive flood of illegal immigration into our country like we've never seen before.”
In one of his best lines, Trump summed it up brilliantly: “Your family can still not go out to eat at local restaurants, but Joe Biden is bringing in thousands upon thou of refugees from all over the world, people who no-one knows anything about!”
He took on Biden’s ‘America Last’ economic policies: cancelling the Keystone Pipeline, shipping our manufacturing jobs overseas, going weak on China, allowing them to basically do whatever they want.
Trump talked about how Biden sold-out our school children to the teachers’ unions; refusing to open-up our schools. And he further tore apart his insane transgender policies; as Trump pointed out: there’s a “lot of new records are being broken” by biological males in women sports as we speak.
Trump obviously took on Big Tech oligarchs: “The time has come to break up Big Tech monopolies and restore fair competition.” “Republicans and conservatives,” he said, “must open up our platforms and repeal section 230 liability protections -- and if the federal government refuses to act, then every state in the union, where we have the votes... Big Tech giants like Google and Facebook must be punished with sanctions whenever they silence conservative voices."
Trump then called out by name the Republican Senators and Representatives that voted with Pelosi and Schumer to impeach and convict him, demonstrating themselves to be nothing less than political cowards. “We cannot have leaders who show more passion for condemning their fellow Americans than they ever have for standing up to Democrats, the media and the radicals who want to turn America into a socialist country.” “Get rid of them all,” he exhorted.
In his first formal public appearance since Jan. 6th, Trump wasted no time in making it clear that he is both the emperor and the kingmaker of the Republican Party. He is its center, its core, and politicians like Liz Cheney and Mitt Romney found out that as of yesterday they don’t have a party anymore. They may have an ‘R’ by their name, but they were effectively excommunicated from the party as of Sunday.
It was in many respects an awesome, epic speech. Trump demonstrated for all to see that he is in the driver’s seat, and it’s going to be very exciting to see what he has in store for the 2022 midterms and beyond!
